Great game. Im just beginning to learn to play. Appreciate all the tutorials.

backgammon board is very authentic, and I like the dice feel.

Only half a game and limited strategy without doubling dice. Doubling dice also allows force outs and quicker ends to obvious games......or makes the opponent pay double to prolong the game. Add doubling dice and you have a complete and realistic application. But, thanks for what you did offer.

Please stretch the iPad board to full screen like the iPhone version. Dont need to have such valuable real estate taken up with the words undo and dragged. Dice are a little slow and often freeze before the rolled dice sound is complete. Adding a doubling dice would be great. Great looking board. I upgraded to the paid version but see no real reason for having done so. Should have stuck with the free version. Overall, make the dice a little more fluid.

It can be a little buggy at times, but still a great game and lots of fun to play!

Crap!

Terrible! Dice get stuck....waste of time! Program cheats....perfect rolls and doubles. Had me roll after program finished bearing off then got stuck. Will keep thru updated but if still so buggy,Im getting rid of it.

Dont buy it!

Buggy, crashes often, dice get stuck. Also, it makes silly mistakes. Even at the "hard" level its next to impossible to lose. Too bad because the graphics and sound are cool.

This game used to work, now after the update when you try to play a new match you get dumped out of the app. FAIL! Its unplayable, trash, useless.

The best backgammon

Nice upgrade! Now the match will start, the opening roll works, but the dice do not work if the player wins the roll. This is on an iPad v6. Do you people even test your product before you release it?

I used another app for awhile, but the more it was "upgraded" the worse it got. This board is beautiful, the AI does not appear to cheat, and I havent had a glitch yet. I deleted the other app. This is nicely done, and Im glad I bought it.

Dragging function and instructions are terrible locks up at critical points of a great game quit working ,so I bought update and now it does not show the screen at all Not Reliable at this time

I have almost tried all backgammon games on Apple Store and Tawla is simply the best one by far. The rest of the games make lots of wrong moves in "Difficult" level that is so disappointing.

This is a good backgammon game but it still cheats a little. It really doesnt like to be backgammon.

In this free version, only the "easy" level is available. The computer opponent makes some stupid moves, and is very easy to beat. Still, its not as dumb as some of the other free backgammon games Ive tried. The "difficult" level in the pay version is is a lot smarter.

Cool Arabic feeling, complete with sounds just like playing on a real wooden board. Good ability to drag pieces, not just point and click. "Undo" feature is under the Menu button while youre playing if you need it. Fun game, well made. However, it cheats. After a while, you start seeing predictable moves by the computer and rolls of the dice that are too "lucky" to be anything but the computers way of getting in your way to retain that level of hardness. I didnt know what people meant by "cheating" in other reviews but now I do. I wish it could really simulate random rolls of the dice better and that I couldnt predict its obvious attempts to spoil my game just to keep things harder. Ive played it a lot and Ive enjoyed it, but now its just getting frustrating with too many moves that feel unfair. I hope theyll try to improve. The design of the game otherwise is beautiful.
